yTracker is a vehicle tracking and dispatch system. It features GPS, GSM, GPRS, graphic LCD panel, and 16 keys for outgoing calls and data transmission between vehicle and control center. Devices of different applications, such as RDIF reader/writer, barcode scanner and reader, PDA, and PC device can be connected with yTrack for data transferring from vehicle to control center or vice versa.

Main Features

Tracking vehicles at real-time: yTrack unit will be sending GPS positions of vehicle at a certain time interval you configured.

Real-time task dispatch to vehicle: Control Center can send the dispatch message to yTrack unit to show in LCD panel. Driver can reply this message by pressing key button.

Digital input/output signals: yTrack has four (4) digital input signals and four (4) digital output signals can be used.

Manual power ON and OFF switch: the unit power is controlled by power switch.

GPS NMEA signal output (USB B-type): can connect to a PDA or PC for car navigation.

Graphic LCD panel built-in: can show total 120 English characters or numbers.

Sixteen (16) key buttons: include twelve (12) number button and four (4) selection keys. The number buttons can also be defined as the functional keys.

Speaker and Microphone built-in: 2-way voice communication between Control Center (or/and defined phone numbers) and Driver.

(optional) RFID reader/writer built-in: to perform Driver identification feature or 2-way data transmission.

(optional) external buzzer: can install an external buzzer.

(optional) two (2) RS-232 COM ports: can connect other electronic devices for different data transmission. For example, barcode reader, electronic terminal, and so on.

 

                 

 

                                

 

 

LED Indications
GPS Coverage SiRF Star III GPS Module: LED flashes when GPS signal is fixed.
GSM/GPRS Coverage Permanently OFF during GSM POWER DOWN mode, ALARM mode, CHARGE-ONLY mode, SLEEP mode with no wake-up event in progress.
Fast flashing during Limited Network Service: No SIM card inserted or no PIN entered, or network search in progress, or ongoing user authentication, or network login in progress.
Slow flashing during IDLE mode: The mobile is logged to the network (monitoring control channels and user interactions). No call in progress.
RFID Status GREEN signifies RFID scanning is successful.
YELLOW signifies RFID scanning errors.

Connectors
External Power Connects to vehicle permanent power wires.
Data In/Out The unit is equipped with Standard Barcode, RFID, Keypad, PDA or PC Interface . For example, when barcode scanning is performed, several barcode readings, which fit into one GPRS pack or one SMS limit, are grouped and sent to call center.
Car Navigation Connects to PDA, laptop PC or notebook PC to perform car navigation.
GPS Antenna GPS antenna has to be in a face-on-sky position to enhance satellite signals reception.
GSM/GPRS Antenna Receives GSM/GPRS network signals.

Function Buttons
Power ON/OFF Turn ON/OFF unit and pick up incoming calls..
SOS Drivers can press the SOS button in emergency circumstances. SOS messages are sent to call center and defined cell phone numbers.
Keypad The keypad has 12 keys (including ON/OFF button) and 4 selection keys (arrow keys).
Some of the keys are defined as functional keys.
